Christian Dior SE is a France-based holding company that controls a significant portion of multinational luxury conglomerate LVMH. Through a complex 2017 tie-up orchestrated by Bernard Arnault, who chairs both companies and serves as LVMH’s CEO, the combined group has a portfolio of leading brands in fashion, cosmetics and perfumes, watches and jewelry, wines and spirits, and luxury retail. These include Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Dior, Loewe, Celine, Givenchy, Bulgaria, Tag Heuer, Veuve Clicquot, Hennessy, Glenmorangie and Guerlain. The group is also involved in luxury travel, retail (including Sephora, and the world’s first department store, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche), yachts, art and media.
