"What makes CHG special is how real the "Putting People First" culture feels. You can see it every day in how leaders support their teams and care about people's growth. The focus on development, and the collaborative environment make it a place where you really feel valued and empowered to make a difference."
Employees say:
"We truly care about one another, from the CEO down to a temporary position. People are not viewed as "butts in a seat" but as actual people with dreams, families, struggles, etc. It is the exception to the rule in many instances - like the rampant return to office that large companies are putting in place again. CHG has gone the opposite direction, further instilling confidence in its people instead of trying to control every single thing just because they can. It sets a tone that we can do what we do to do for our families while still working and doing the best job we can do."
Employees say:
"It is unusal that the company views me as a person first and ecourages me to have a work life balance. Recently I was having a difficult time in my personal life, I was honest with my leader that on that particular day I was unfocused and really needed to take the day off to take care of my mental and emotional heatlh. There was no hesitation when she ecouraged me to take the day off and reminded me to record it for a wellness pays point. That is not the norm for most employers. To have that level of understanding as a normal part of the company culture is huge and inspires a level of loyalty that I cannot even describe."
Employees say:
"The corporate culture is nothing short of amazing. Everyone wants to see you succeed, find work/life balance, accepts you as a human being with feelings and emotions and wants to support you personally as well as professionally. There's no other company like this!"
Employees say: "Unique to say the least—CHG has got the formula to build a great company through the support and encouragement they consistently deliver to their employees! I'd never heard of a company, prior to transferring to CHG, that has so many celebratory events, weeks dedicated to highlighting the work we do, and all the parties, lunches, and social events to ensure everyone feels special and important. It definitely makes you want to achieve goals and do well in your position to contribute to the greater good."
Employees say:
"It really is so inclusive and the management is very humble and down to earth. It is not rare to pass the CEO or president of culture in the hall and they are kind and interested in your day. The tier of management does not feel threatening and the word "boss" is not thrown about. The term 'team leader' is often used and that is exactly what they feel like, leaders who mentor and encourage and guide the team. I've never worked in such an open and fun place regardless of role."
Employees say:
"The company and its leaders are great. They truly do care about their employees and want us to be healthy, happy, and have a work-life balance, and there is room for advancement."
Employees say:
"This Company walks the talk. They give so much to their employees that we are willing to go the extra mile with our work. They genuinely encourage us to take time off and are very transparent with how the Company is doing financially."
Employees say:
"This is a company that really cares about people, and the culture is driven from the top down. Encouragement to take a mental health day, for example, is something I've never heard of anywhere else and to see it incentivized in the wellness points was real proof that leadership wants us to take care of ourselves."
