"I am a full-time nursing student while I work full-time at the Cheesecake Factory. They help work with my hectic schedule by giving me my preferred serving sections and food runner shifts that work for my schedule. If my schedule ever changes, they are immediately helping me get shifts covered or helping me get shifts when class is canceled. The Cheesecake Factory, its managers, and its staff truly make it a wonderful place to work. We aren't employees; we are all one big family, celebrating everyone's wins and mourning our losses with each other in both the business setting and our personal lives. I couldn't be happier working where I do; I feel appreciated for my work and love and appreciate everyone there."
"Cheesecake Factory is more than just a family restaurant! The morals, ethics, standards, commitment to excellence is admirable and something every business owner/entrepreneur can learn from. We are a traditional company who strives for togetherness and inclusion, while providing exceptional service and memorable experiences to our guests. I love working here! I love what we stand for! I couldn't be more proud to be part of such an accomplished restaurant!"
Employees say: "In my short time of working for this company, it has been great to see the things we do each day to make it a great place to work for staff. The appreciation that we show for them on holidays, birthdays, anniversaries is amazing, as well as the appreciation week, where we do things each day for the staff. It is also great to be encouraged to take time off for my personal life and not have work overlap into it on a consistent basis. While some days may be tough, it is a great place to work, and I am glad I took the leap to join this company!"
The Cheesecake Factory remains a top performer on this list, rising seven spots from last year. Also in 2023 the California-based restaurant chain and bakery debuted its First 6 onboarding program, which supports externally hired managers through their transition to the company’s distinctive culture and operations. During their first six months, the newcomers participate in a series of activities alongside peers, culminating in meetings with executive leadership at the company’s support center in Southern California. The support center also recently welcomed 22 mid-level managers from diverse backgrounds to network with executives and set career goals alongside mentors as part of the company’s Diverse Leaders Network Conference.
