"What makes Baptist Hospital special is the strong sense of teamwork and compassion. I see how everyone, from doctors to support staff, goes the extra mile for patients. One time, we helped a patient apply for financial aid after a major surgery, walking them through every step instead of just handing them forms. Leadership also truly listens; when I suggested a small change to improve patient communication, they actually made it happen. It's a place where you feel valued and part of something meaningful."

"I never feel like I'm going to 'work.' I love my career. My coworkers are like a second family. Patients will often thank us, tell us how well they have been treated and how much they appreciate what we do—some even tear up because of how appreciative they are. I can't say enough good things about my director. She listens, cares and always follows through with any changes and pushes to improve our department. It really makes such a difference coming to work with people smiling, laughing and just taking the time to ask you how you are doing or wishing you a good day. I am proud to work here!"

This is the 24th year on the list for Baptist Health South Florida, a health care chain that provides services in four counties in South Florida and through its online platform, the Baptist Health PineApp. The group provides treatments for cancer, cardiovascular complications, orthopedics, sports medicine, and neuroscience and employs over 4,000 doctors in 12 hospitals and 200 outpatient centers. In November, the group partnered with Florida International University and announced a collaboration to expand physician training, research, and patient care for South Florida communities. Its employees can access a scholarship program, which has awarded nearly $63 million since 2001, to over 5,000 employees who want to attend local universities or advance in the nursing field. Currently, 372 scholars are enrolled in the program. Baptist Health provided $478 million in total charity care and community benefit in fiscal year 2023. This reflects Baptist Health’s ongoing commitment to helping the communities we serve.
