Ayala Corporation is one of the Philippines’ oldest companies, founded almost two centuries ago by Domingo Róxas and Antonio de Ayala. The conglomerate is responsible for several firsts in the country including the nation's first bank and first public mass transportation system. Ayala has interests throughout the Filipino economy, including health care, telecoms, insurance, power generation, real estate, electronics manufacturing, and logistics. Ayala’s current CEO, Cezar Consing, is the conglomerate’s first top leader from outside the family.
