[ MUSIC ] Roberto, let's begin by talking about the Avon acquisition. Why is it so important for Natura? This has been a long time in the making, right? And Natura and Avon To some extent are meant to be right? They are companies that started in direct selling a lot of respect for one another. And at the same time, a lot of share values, common values in terms of social causes in terms of really have an impact in society and And at the end of the day, there's a lot of complementarity of those companies coming together. Avon started this whole direct selling, has a footprint that is pretty global. And it also complements well with Natura's very strong presence in Latin America for both companies. But it gives us now a platform To be more global. So it's really an important step for us to really consolidate the notion of a multi channel, multi brand global beauty company. But you're right. I mean, everybody knows the Avon name. The Avon lady. And the slogan ding- dong Avon calling, but Avon is not what it used to be. It is. I've been struggling for so many- Right Years. What can you do to change that? We are a big believers in this notion of relationship selling, and in fact, both companies and the Natura and even we're born with that. It's just that in the past. This relationship selling was primarily done offline. But we are seeing in a renaissance of relationship selling, which is becoming much more online with the representatives and the consultants using their own digital platform Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp to actually connected with consumers, with their customers. So to some extent the Avon ladies And It's our goal, is to continue to evolve them, not to just be the ding **** but to actually be the click click in a high touch high tech way. And we are seeing that transformation, we're calling like the renaissance of the direct selling which is becoming more the social selling the relationship selling But does this door to door or direct selling really makes sense in this day and age where it's the era of Amazon and so many low cost chains, discount chains that sell beauty products at lower prices? We think so. And I'll give you an example. There's a lot of talk and a lot of companies Reaching out to social influencers right then and paying big money to have social influencers endorsing their products and selling their products, etc. It's just happened then now with this combination, we envision that we're going to have 6. 4 million Consultants and representatives that are in fact micro- influencers. So think about those beauty consultants becoming micro- influencers. Reaching out, they are customers, they are consumers in terms of beauty advisors, beauty tips. Selling the product, so that in its self, it's a powerful network that can reach over 200, 300 million consumers on a daily base. Let's talk a little bit about the social and enviromental aspects of the beauty business. I know you're a big believer in this, tell us why. Well, you know Natura is been doing a lot of work for almost 50 years since he started in Brazil. You know, over 20 years working with with the Amazon forest and the communities the local community sourcing ingredients from them while preserving you know, the the forest And it's something that it's really important not only because of the natural ingredients, but also in terms of providing back to the communities the Amazon in a ways for them to continue to strive and continue to be resourceful and it's something really core to [ UNKNOWN ]. We want to do things to be more well recognized globally and I think now with the amplification of the group with the body shop is up in Avon. We're gonna be able to reach a much bigger group of customers and representatives and stores that will be able to communicate the message of the importance of really company serving a higher purpose, really serving again beyond just economic values, but also the social aspect and the environmental aspect. What about your customers? I mean what are their expectations on these issues of social environmental responsibility? I think the customers, you know the youngers and millenials but also in general they are carrying more and more about it, and I think the reason of that it's they are seeing what happen in the world, right? Then in the world that. The companies need to play to be more conscious about their impact and their involvement in the society. And therefore we believe that we also have that responsibility as a total goal with our business, with our brands to be connected. And to really work on this notion That the business should actually serve a higher purpose, right of trying to create a positive impact economically in the environment in in the social aspect as well. And what about Natura itself the company it's now with this acquisition with Avon, the fourth largest beauty products company in the world after L'Oreal Estee Lauder and Shiseido. What do you want people to say about Naturo the company and the brand? In our mind, we don't want to just be maybe the best beauty group or beauty company in the world. Our really aspiration is to become the best beauty group for the world. And that ties directly to this responsibility with the environment with the society and economic impact. And that is I think, is what gets people excited to wake up every day to come to work and hopefully to join natura co >> And how do you want people to describe the new, Avon after the natural make over. Again it's an iconic brand. Avon is a beautiful brand, we wanna almost like to unleash to celebrate the legacy of Avon again and when people to be proud to be working for a company that is a democratic brand. [ BLANK_AUDIO ]
