Change the World 2026

Often traditional insurance and government budgets alone cannot cover the costs of disasters. The professional services firm Aon aids disaster-hit communities by providing funds within weeks when it would otherwise take months or years to process claims. An independent third party speeds up claim settlement and makes it more transparent than traditional insurance, according to Aon. The company provided quick access to funds for the Jamaican government following Hurricane Melissa in 2025. Through the IFRC Disaster Response Emergency Fund (IFRC-DREF), Aon provides emergency relief funding to organizations such as the National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
