Founded in 1959, American Financial Group (AFG) is a conglomerate of insurers, including Great American Insurance, which brings in the lion's share of the publicly traded company’s revenue. AFG insurers provide customers with a wide swath of policies. These include horse mortality coverage, protection against crime-related losses, and workers’ compensation insurance.
