"It's rare to find a workplace where the energy in the room is as rewarding as the benefits on paper. From the way team members look out for one another to the infectious, positive atmosphere that greets you every morning, American Fidelity has mastered the art of the 'human-centric' workplace. It's a place where you aren't just a number on a spreadsheet; you're a vital part of a group that celebrates wins together and supports one another through challenges."

"This company doesn't stop looking for ways to elevate the business to new heights, it involves all colleagues to do this and everyone is a team. There are no dramatic issues and problems, we trust each other, have fun, and we look at our careers as a great service and get treated with the utmost respect. Every voice matters and we all have every opportunity to grow and move up in any position with proper growth steps and hard work! We can even go to management and tell them what department or position we want to aspire to, management will provide training and help us get to that place with full support! I feel very valued and happy to be a part of this amazing family-oriented company!"

"This is a great place to work! Not just because of the monetary benefits, but also because of the care and acknowledgement that is shown throughout the year to each employee, from the secretary, all the way up to management. Even the fact that AF cares about their employee's opinions on the culture of the company by doing these surveys, and are always trying to better themselves, says so much. The opportunities to grow and develop as professionals and as human beings goes well beyond the scope of any business I have worked for outside of AF. I am thankful to be here and proud to call American Fidelity my home away from home."
Employees say:
"My manager is super busy, however she always makes time for me, listens to my concerns and treats me with respect. I feel like I can talk to her about anything. My team is like family, and I couldn't ask for a better team to be a part of. I learn a lot on a daily basis, and I feel supported in every aspect of my life. My team appreciates me and makes me feel special. AF goes above and beyond for our colleagues, community and customers. My family says we are spoiled here - I am grateful for all the perks and opportunities we are given. Our company truly cares about colleagues and how we can strive to be even better with input from the colleagues (not guessing what we can do better)."
Employees say:
"Work-life balance is a priority for managers and my entire department. I am given freedom to work independently when appropriate. I am encouraged to be creative to solve problems and generate new ideas to help achieve company goals. I am also expected to lead with my strengths and work on projects that mirror these strengths. All of my managers give constant feedback and ask for feedback on their performance as well. The question my direct boss usually asks me is, 'How can I support you today?' She knows me well and knows what I need to be successful. I highly respect this about AF and the management team I work with daily."
Employees say:
"I really appreciate the flexibility we are generally given in my position. I know my manager trusts us to use our time wisely and meet these requirements and it is nice to not feel micromanaged. The ability to work from home frequently is extremely important to me being a mom and I am very grateful that I don't have to make that sacrifice."
Employees say:
"This company is one of a kind. I have never been employed by a company who cares so much about their culture. Our colleagues all somehow assemble this huge puzzle that is American Fidelity. The way you can grow year by year and the help you are given for growth. The growth isn't just in the work environment you take this growth home. We are a beautiful culture with an amazing place to work."
Employees say:
"It is an inclusive work environment to where you can bring your whole self to work. The company really shows they care about their employees by the ways they take care of them (on site physician, cafeteria, walking trails, good benefits)."
Employees say:
"We have a great team of people who genuinely support each other and challenge continual growth. We have a supportive leadership who gives each person the opportunity to try new things. We are treated as individuals and respected for our individual diversity without trying to micromanage or fit into a corporate mold."
