World Wide Technology hosts the Innovation Showcase, which encourages employees to present solutions to business challenges. The event exemplifies the company’s collaborative environment, which encourages growth and new ideas.
Employees say: "I have never worked at a company before where management is so invested in our day-to-day—not to micromanage, but to see if there is anything that we think could be improved on or changed. They actually listen to that feedback, and I have personally seen process improvements take place from the feedback we gave leadership."
Employees say:
"The benefits and flexibility on work/life balance I have are second to none. They allow me to take care of my two girls without having to worry and give me the freedom to be more involved with their lives every single day. The flexibility has definitely increased over the past 4 years and I am forever grateful for the additional time I've had with my family."

World Wide Technology’s leading employee health care program is simple: On-site medical services are offered at select locations to staff and their dependents, and they are all 100% free. Thanks to the company’s partnership with Mercy health care, at WWT on-site family health centers, employees can access everything from primary care to drug testing to allergy treatment.
WWT also partners with Bright Horizons, a childcare provider, to offer low-cost backup care and family support to all full-time employees. Eldercare, pet sitting, and housekeeping services are available as well. Additionally, Bright Horizons provides services to staffers’ children through high school, with tutoring, online learning discounts, and college counseling among its offerings.
The firm has long partnered with national nonprofit NPower, which provides free IT career training to military veterans, their family members, and young adults from underserved communities. WWT has hired over 100 NPower participants, and teamed with Hiring Our Heroes and RecruitMilitary in an effort to further expand its talent pipeline.

The tech services provider aims for an environment where workers can truly know one another.
- WWT fosters empathy and closeness through initiatives like its storytelling program, a DEI effort that invites people to share their personal lives and be honest about their experiences with matters like depression, loneliness, addiction, and illness.
- Listening Sessions provides space for the team to unpack world events and workplace trends affecting employees, whether it’s the rise in hate crimes against Asian and Pacific Islander communities, support for veterans, or concerns over retention and back-to-the-office initiatives.
- WWT aims to encourage underrepresented groups to pursue careers in STEM with a number of pipeline programs, including a partnership with LaunchCode.
- Satisfaction is high at WWT with nine out of 10 employees affirming that “people care about each other here.”
- “This company invests in its employees, from providing excellent benefits at an incredibly low cost, to supporting all different cultures and individuals, to always making sure there is a work-life balance by providing plenty of PTO and ways to earn additional days off,” says one WWT employee.

Employees say:
"When reflecting upon the 11 years I spent with a different company in a related field as World Wide Technology, I can honestly say, with complete assurance, that working here has been the single greatest benefit to my own mental health, not to mention that of my family. I cannot overestimate my gratitude towards the culture that has been encouraged here. This place truly is an amazing environment."
