"Management takes the time to listen to new ideas, is open to feedback and implementing new workflows to ensure we are working smarter and utilizing our resources appropriately. There is a true sense of belonging and that the work that we do on a daily basis is not only impactful but vital to Scripps' mission, vision, and values. It is an honor to work for Scripps."

"I love my team of people who try to support each other and try to bring out the best in each other on a daily basis. That in itself is a gift. So this is just not simple a 'job', it is a call to 'service' and I like to be a part of that culture. My manager is a pillar of strength and support for me over the years. And I have been here for over 20 years so that is a LOT of support. She is in the trenches with us! She sees us! She brings so much humanity and kindness to the work place. I am very grateful for that. I love my nursing staff who is always willing to have my back no matter what time of the day I see the patients."
Employees say: "The employees are supportive and genuinely want to see others succeed in their role within the organization. I'm grateful to all those who welcomed me on my first day of work and continue to help me grow."

"Scripps is a place of innovation and collaboration. They continually enforce the need and benefit of working together from the bottom up to the top down. It is one of the best positions I have ever held in health care. Our management team is responsive/supportive and takes great pride in the work that they do. Our senior leaders deliver open and honest communication good/or bad news with a realization of focus needed to improve to meet common goals. This truly is a GREAT PLACE TO WORK!!! There is always someone to reach out to that will know/have answers to questions or concerns."
Scripps Health celebrates its 16th year on Fortune’s list for making sure employees feel heard. The company’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Council has members at each hospital site who seek employee feedback and create new employee resource groups. Each employee email sent to the company’s sustainability webpage is assigned to a specific member of the company’s sustainability council who explains to the employee the reason an idea is implemented or not. Employees are also eligible for scholarships and tuition reimbursement.
This year, the company’s leadership hosts a town hall for employees to offer insight into the company’s finances. The company donated more than $692 million to community benefit programs in the fiscal year 2022.
