Ellie Austin is the host of Fortune Daily, Fortune's flagship news show, available on YouTube, Apple, and Spotify podcast platforms. She is also the editorial director of Most Powerful Women at Fortune, where she works across the magazine and conferences covering the world’s most influential leaders. She leads and hosts the annual MPW Summit, interviewing the likes of former U.K. prime minister Theresa May, Lizzo, Supreme Court Justice Kentanji Brown Jackson, and Priscilla Chan live onstage. Her written work covers the intersection of global business, power, and culture and includes an investigation into the influencer-loved green powder AG1, as well as newsletter essays on everything from Hollywood machinations to fertility industry breakthroughs. Previously, she was an editor of live journalism at the Wall Street Journal and a writer and editor at the Sunday Times Magazine in London, where she wrote features and profiled Roger Federer, Natalie Portman, and Hailey Bieber for cover stories. She grew up in Jersey, Channel Islands, and lives in New York City.
