Carmela Chirinos is a New York-based social media fellow for Fortune. She previously worked in a New York-based news show as a social media manager, interned in France assisting refugees seeking asylum, and interned in Peru conducting market research for the government. She graduated from Syracuse with a triple major in international relations, sociology, and French and is currently a media management Master's student at Fordham, where she is the social media and logistics chair for the Investment Banking, Private Equity, and Venture Capital Club.
