Carlos Garcia is a former crypto reporting fellow at Fortune. He previously worked in podcasting, at the Wall Street Journal and NPR. At WSJ, he worked on their flagship podcast, The Journal. At NPR, he cohosted episodes on Planet Money and The Indicator. One of those episodes—about how Tyson Foods recruited asylum seekers to work in meatpacking in Tennessee—aired on Morning Edition. He holds a master’s degree from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, where he studied business journalism and bilingual reporting.
