Thapanee Techajareonvikul, Berli Jucker's first female CEO in its 144-year history, has been in the conglomerate's leadership since 2003. Women make up about 60% of BJC's employees and half its senior management. BJC in May bought Vietnam's MM Mega Market from the family's TCC Group for 22.5 billion baht ($720 million). She cites her father, billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, for her early experience with corporate management. “Getting so involved with the management team at the top level from a very young age—I think I was lucky,” she told Fortune in 2024.
