Nerine Tan Sheik Ping became sole CEO of Berjaya Corp on Feb. 5, 2026 after joint CEO Vivienne Cheng retired. She is the daughter of founder Vincent Tan, who built the Malaysian conglomerate, and has been co-CEO since March 2023. Berjaya's businesses range from Starbucks Malaysia and H.R. Owen, a British luxury car dealer, to hotels, property and the Sports Toto lottery.
