Meng Wanzhou

Meng Wanzhou leads Huawei as CFO, deputy chairwoman, and one of three rotating chairpeople as the company embraces its role as China's national champion in tech self-sufficiency. The company posted 881 billion yuan ($126 billion) in revenue last year, its second-highest on record; Huawei has also retaken China's smartphone crown, a testament to its return to prominence after U.S. sanctions. Net income rose 8.7% even as Huawei pours over a fifth of revenue into ventures like its Ascend chips, China's newest hope to stay current in the AI race despite U.S. export controls. Meng, daughter of founder Ren Zhengfei, ended her latest rotating term in March.
