Miki Tsusaka has been president of Microsoft's Japan business since 2023. She now leads the tech giant's engagement with customers and business partners after spending over 30 years at Boston Consulting Group. Microsoft is investing $2.9 billion in cloud computing and AI infrastructure, and opened its first Japan-based Research Asia lab last year. Microsoft hopes to upskill 3 million Japanese workers in AI by 2027, even as Japan’s corporate sector may lag other regions in AI adoption.
