In 2021, Diana Cesar joined a line of women chiefs at Hong Kong's largest local bank, Hang Seng, an HSBC subsidiary. Formerly HSBC's Hong Kong CEO, the Canadian-educated Cesar clocked stints at Citibank and American Express before joining HSBC in 1999, where she is credited for successfully turning its Taiwan credit cards business around.
