- TitleHead of Instagram
Adam Mosseri leads one of Facebook’s fastest-growing apps, Instagram—a job that has become especially important as Instagram fuels continued growth of users and ad revenue for its parent company. Since taking Instagram’s top post in 2018 following the resignation of cofounders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, 37-year-old Mosseri has been busy. He’s tackled bullying and harassment on Instagram by releasing new features that give users control over how they interact with others on the service. The New York native has also overseen big product rollouts like Reels, Instagram’s TikTok rival, and bolstered shopping capabilities to draw more brands to the app. Mosseri logged 10 years at Facebook—serving as the head of its News Feed team and later of product at Instagram—before becoming Instagram’s chief.
