We also include CEOs (Chief Executive Officers), CTOs (Chief Technology Officers), Chief People Officers, CMOs (Chief Marketing Officers), and Chief Customer Officers when there are Power Moves within the Fortune 500 announced pertaining to those roles.

Financials

  • Citizens Financial Group (No. 341) appointed Aunoy Banerjee as CFO, effective Oct. 24. Banerjee currently serves as CFO of Barclays Bank PLC and succeeds John Woods, who became CFO of State Street (No. 198) on Aug. 15. Chris Emerson, EVP and Head of Corporate Planning and Enterprise Finance, is serving as interim CFO until Banerjee fills the role.
  • Assurant (No. 356) appointed Mike Campbell as EVP, COO, effective Sept. 15. Campbell has served as President, Global Housing since 2019 and will succeed Francesca Luthi, who has resigned from the position for personal reasons.

Retailing

  • Group 1 Automotive (No. 214) appointed Melkeya McDuffie as SVP and CHRO, effective Aug. 11. McDuffie previously served as Chief People Officer of Bright Horizons and succeeded Edward McKissic.

Wholesalers

  • SpartanNash (No. 428) appointed Ed Rybicki as SVP and CIO and Brett Hoffman as VP and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), effective immediately. Rybicki most recently served as Chief Information and Technology Officer at Mastronardi Produce. Hoffman most recently served as Vice President, Enterprise Security Solutions and CISO at Inspire Security Solutions. Masiar Tayebi departed SpartanNash as Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and Information Officer, in April.
