People online are confused about how Donald Trump has not spoken with running mate Indiana Gov. Mike Pence on how to handle the humanitarian crisis in Syria.
During the presidential debate on Sunday, Trump said he disagreed with Pence’s claim that the U.S. military should be prepared to strike Syrian military targets under the command of President Bashar Assad, saying he and his running mate have not talked about it.
“He and I haven’t spoken, and I disagree,” Trump said.
Those watching the debate were surprised the Republican nominee said he had not touched on the subject of Syria with his vice presidential pick, and called their communication skills into question.
While I may not be able to moderate a debate, sounds like Mike Pence and Donald Trump might need to come on my show to talk things out.
