Before he ran for President, Donald Trump hosted numerous seasons of the reality show “The Apprentice.” Now, though, six former contestants are telling voters not to pick their former would-be boss for President.
And it isn’t just people who got booted early. Randall Pinkett won the fourth season of the show, and he is urging voters to choose someone other than Trump, reports Politico.
“Because our allegiance to our country supersedes our relationship with Donald, we see today as an act of patriotism and not disloyalty,” Pinkett said.
The other candidates joining Pinkett in speaking out are Kevin Allen, Tara Dowdell, Marshawn Evans Daniels, James Sun and Kwame Jackson.
“Trump is not the candidate for America. Words matter, and you incite violence when you cajole, tacitly and implicitly, encourage the next Dylann Roof or the next Timothy McVeigh,” Jackson said.
The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
