According to a new CNN/ORC poll, Donald Trump has gained 8 points since August. This brings him up to 32%, almost tripling his support since launching his campaign in June and making him the first Republican candidate to receive over 30% support, CNN reports.

Trump, who has been criticized for his comments about women, has gained 13 points among female voters, putting him at 33% in that demographic.

Carson, another non-politician, is in second place in the poll with 19%. Combined, these two candidates have claimed over half of the vote.

They are each comfortably ahead of their fellow candidates. Jeb Bush sits in third place with 9%, 4 points down since August. Ted Cruz trails him in fourth place with 7%, and Mike Huckabee and Scott Walker tie for fifth place with 5%. All the other candidates have either 3% or less, including Marco Rubio who fell 5 points since August.
