Pickup truck fans across America will get the chance to check out the all new Ford F-150 over the next few months, seeing for themselves if the redesigned truck meets their demands.

The newly redesigned truck has aluminum-alloy body panels, instead of the heavier steel generally used for heavy-duty vehicles.

The tour will tour 38 cities between Oct.13 and Dec. 21, before the new car actually hits showrooms. Truck drivers can sign up for a spot, or walk up to the event.

F-series truck sales are down just a bit this year, but if the F-150 is as big of a hit as Ford (F) hopes it is, the line could see a big rebound in 2015.
