Prosper Marketplace Inc., a San Francisco-based peer-to-peer lending platform, has raised $25 million in new VC funding. Existing shareholder Sequoia Capital led the round, and was joined by new investor BlackRock. The company has now raised around $120 million in total VC funding. In a regulatory filing, Prosper reported annual revenue of between $5 million and $25 million.www.prosper.com

Urban Compass, a New York-based home rentals platform and related hyper-local social network, has raised $20 million in Series A funding. Advance Publications and Marc Benioff were joined by return backers .406 Ventures, Founders Fund, Goldman Sachs and Thrive Capital. TechCrunch reports that the deal values Urban Compass at $150 million. www.urbancompass.com

Ranovus Inc.
, a provider of multi-terabit interconnect solutions for data center and communications networks, has raised $11 million in new VC funding. Backers include Azure Capital Partners, T-Venture, BDC Venture Capital and OMERS Ventures. The company has offices in Ottawa and San Jose, Calif.www.ranovus.com

Moxtra
, a Cupertino, Calif.-based mobile content collaboration startup, has raised $10 million in new VC funding. Cisco Systems and Japan’s KDDI co-led the round, and were joined by China’s Innovation Works and Barry Sternlicht. www.moxtra.com

Simplee
, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based enterprise cloud platform for patient payments, has raised $10 million in Series B funding. Heritage Group led the round, and was joined by The Social+Capital Partnership and Greylock. www.simplee.com

PatientSafe Solutions
, a San Diego-based provider of point-of-care patient safety clinical workflow applications, has raised $7 million in new Series C funding from EDBI, the investment arm of the Singapore Economic Development Board. This brings the round total to $27 million, including an earlier close from Merck Global Health Innovation Fund with participation from Camden Partners, TPG Biotech, and Psilos Group.  www.patientsafesolutions.com

Biodigital
, a New York-based 3D browser imaging startup focused on the human body, has raised $4 million in Series A funding. FirstMark Capital led the round, and was joined by NYU Venture Fund and individual angels. www.biodigitalhuman.com

Edjing, the French maker of a mobile track-mixing application for DJs, has raised $2.5 million in new VC funding led by Entrepreneur Venture. www.edjing.com
