American Industrial Partners has agreed to acquire KMT Group from Sweden’s Nordstjernan for an enterprise value of $147.5 million. KMT is a maker of ultrahigh-pressure pump products for the industrial manufacturing, surface preparation, and food processing applications. www.kmt.se

Aurora Capital Group
 has agreed to acquire National Technical Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: NTSC), a Calabasas, Calif.-based provider of testing and engineering services, for approximately $267 million. The $23 per share sale price represents a 38.7% premium to yesterday’s closing price. www.nts.com

Balaji Wafers, an Indian snack-food company, is in talks with private equity firms to raise between $100 million and $125 million, according to Reuters. Interested firms include Actis and The Blackstone Group. www.balajiwafers.com

The Carlyle Group has agreed to acquire German nursing home operator Alloheim AG from Star Capital Partners. No financial terms were disclosed. Star had acquired Alloheim in March 2008 for €125 million. www.carlyle.com

Hellman & Friedman
 has completed a £135 million dividend recap for Wood Mackenzie, a British provider of energy market research and analysis that the private equity firm bought just one year ago for £1.1 billion, according to Dow Jones. www.woodmacresearch.com

Parthenon Capital Partners
 has acquired Bracket, a Wayne, Penn.-based provider of clinical services and tech solutions for various clinical trials, from Express Scripts Holding Co. (Nasdaq: ESRX). No financial terms were disclosed. www.bracketglobal.com

Silver Lake Sumeru has acquired a majority stake in BlackLine Systems, a Woodland Hills, Calif.–based provider of solutions that automate and control mission-critical financial close processes. No financial terms were disclosed. www.blackline.com

TowerBrook Capital Partners is in talks to acquire UK aircraft interiors maker AIM Aviation Ltd.from LDC for upwards of £160 million, according to Bloomberg. www.aim-aviation.com
