SynapDx Corp., a Southborough, Mass.-based developer of a blood-based diagnostic test for autism spectrum disorders, has raised $15.4 million in new VC funding led by Google Ventures. The company previously raised $8 million from LabCorp, North Bridge Venture Partners and General Catalyst Partners. www.synapdx.com

Expect Labs, a San Francisco-based platform for powering “intelligent digital assistants,” has raised an undisclosed amount of new VC funding from Liberty Global Ventures and IDG Ventures USA.
