Ayasdi, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based developer of an insight discovery platform that combines advanced mathematics, computer science and visualization, has raised $30.6 million in Series B funding.Institutional Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by Citi Ventures, GE Ventures and return backers Khosla Ventures and Floodgate Fund. www.ayasdi.com

Optoro Inc., a Lanham, Md.-based provider of asset recovery solutions for distressed inventory, has raised $23.5 million in new VC funding led by Revolution Growth. It previously raised more than $10 million from Grotech Ventures, SJF Ventures and QED. www.optoro.com

Gamma Medica Inc., a Salem, N.H.-based developer of breast cancer diagnostics, has raised $16 million in Series A funding from Psilos Group. www.gammamedica.com
CloudVelocity, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based provider of automated cloud migration and disaster recovery software, has raised $13 million in Series B funding. Third Point Ventures led the round, and was joined by Pelion Venture Partners and return backer Mayfield Fund. www.cloudvelocity.com

Kit Check, a Washington, D.C.-based provider of automated inventory tracking solutions for hospitals, has raised $10.4 million in Series A funding. New Leaf Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by Easton Capital Investment Group, LionBird and Sands Capital Ventures. www.kitcheck.com

ArborMetrix Inc., an Ann Arbor, Mich.-based provider of real-time healthcare analytics, has raised $7 million in Series B funding. RPM Ventures led the round, and was joined by The Wolverine Venture Fund and return backer Arboretum Ventures. www.arbormetrix.com

Veros Systems Inc., a College Station, Texas-based provider of software-enabled solutions for physical asset lifecycle management to industrial customers, has raised $5 million in VC funding from Austin Ventures and LiveOak Venture Partners. www.verossystems.com

Sauce Labs, a San Francisco-based app testing cloud platform, has raised $5 million in Series C funding. Toba Capital led the round, and was joined by Scott Banister and return backer Triage Ventures. www.saucelabs.com

Cartiva Inc., an Alpharetta, Ga.-based developer of products for the treatment of cartilage injuries and osteoarthritis, has raised $4.3 million in new VC funding led by New Enterprise Associates.www.cartiva.net

TouchOfModern, a San Francisco-based flash sales site operator, has raised $3 million in Series A funding. Floodgate Fund led the round, and was joined by seed backer Hillsven Capital.www.touchofmodern.com

BrightBytes Inc., a New York-based data analytics SaaS platform for the education market, has raised $2.5 million in Series A funding from Rethink Education. 

TalentBin, a San Mateo, Calif.-based technical recruitment platform that leveraged big data, has raised $2 million in new VC funding. Lightbank led the round, and was joined by New Enterprise Associates, Foundation Capital and Funders Club. www.talentbin.com

GamesAnalytics, a Scottish provider of predictive analytics for game publishers, has raised $1.3 million in Series A funding. Par Equity and STV Group were joined by return backer Scottish Enterprise.www.gameanalytics.com
