Crocus Technology, a French developer of magnetically-enhanced semiconductor technologies, has raised €34 million in new VC funding. Idinvest Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Sofinnova Ventures, Innovation Capital, Nanodimension and Ventech. www.crocus-technology.com

CVRx Inc., a Minneapolis-based developer of an implantable system designed to treat hypertension and heart failure, has raised $29.6 million in new VC funding. New Enterprise Associates and Johnson &Johnson Development Corp. co-led the round, and were joined by BBT Fund and SightLine Partners.www.cvrx.com

The Iconic, an Australian online fashion retailer created by Rocket Internet, has raised A$28 million in new VC funding. Verlinvest led the round, and was joined by return backers AB Kinnevik and Summit Partners. www.theiconic.com.au

Movidius, a San Mateo, Calif.-based maker of computational image-processor chips and software, has raised $16 million in Series D funding. Atlantic Bridge, DFJ Esprit and Robert Bosch Venture Capitalwere joined by return backers Capital E, AIB Seed Capital Fund and private investors.www.movidus.com
Instacart, a San Francisco-based short-order local grocery delivery service, has raised $8.5 million in Series A funding. Sequoia Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Khosla Ventures, Canaan Partners, SVAngel and Paul Buchheit. Tivli, a Boston-based service that delivers television to university students on their mobile devices, has raised $6.3 million in Series A funding. New Enterprise Associates led the round, and was joined by CBC New Media Group, HBO Inc., Mark Cuban, WME and return backers Felicis Ventures and Rho Ventures. www.tivli.com

Groupize, a Gloucester, Mass.-based automation platform for both sides of the group hotel reservation process, has raised $2 million in Series A funding. Golden Seeds led the round, and was joined by Launchpad Venture Group. www.groupize.com

Vida Therapeutics Inc., a Vancouver-based developer of drugs that inhibit the granzyme family of serine proteases, has raised C$1.8 million in new VC funding led by BDC Venture Capital.www.vidatherapeutics.com

GreenLancer.com, a web-based solar energy engineering company, has raised $500,000 in Series A funding from “a syndicate of Michigan-based investors” like Start Garden. The company is based in Detroit. www.greenlancer.com

Vaultize, an India-based provider of enterprise file sharing and sync solutions, has raised an undisclosed amount of VC funding from Tata Capital Innovations Fundwww.vaultize.com
