Interactions Corp., a Franklin, MA-based provider of conversational virtual assistant applications for customer service, has raised $40 million in new VC funding. SoftBank Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Sigma Partners, Sigma Prime Ventures, RED LLC, Cross Atlantic Capital Partners, North Hill Ventures and Updata Partners. www.interactions.net

Skyhigh Networks, a Cupertino, Calif.-based provider of cloud visibility and control solutions, has raised $20 million in Series B funding. Sequoia Capital led the round, and was joined by return backer Greylock Partners. www.skyhighnetworks.com

Loyal3, a stock investing website that doesn’t charge management or transaction fees, has raised $18 million in Series C funding. Michael Pucker and Gigi Pritzker Pucker led the deal, and were joined by Chris Kelly (ex-Facebook) and company CEO Barry Schneider. www.loyal3.com

WibiData
, a San Francisco-based provider of enterprise data management solutions, has raised $15 million in Series B funding. Canaan Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers New Enterprise Associates and Eric Schmidt. www.wibidata.com

AlephCloud, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based developer of technology for managing content privacy and provenance in public clouds, has raised $7.5 million in Series B funding led by Handbag LLC (a new VC group from ex-Crosspoint partner Seth Neiman). www.alephcloud.com

Zalora, a fashion-focused ecommerce site for Southeast Asia, has raised $100 million in new funding. Return backer Rocket Internet led the round, and was joined by Summit Partners, Investment AB Kinnevik, Verlinvest and Tengelmann Group. www.zalora.com

ViewRay Inc., a Cleveland-based developer of radiation therapy technology for the treatment of cancer, has secured $15 million of a new $17.4 million funding round, according to a regulatory filing. The company previously raised more than $80 million from Aisling Capital, Fidelity Biosciences, Kearny Venture Partners, OrbiMed Advisors and Siemens Venture Capital. www.viewray.com

Urturn, a Swiss developer of a social platform for self-expression, has raised $13.4 million in Series A funding. Balderton Capital led the round with a $10.7 million investment, and was joined by Debiopharm Group. www.urturn.com

Phagenesis Ltd., a British medical device company focused on the treatment of dysphagia, has expanded its Series B round to $17 million. It originally announced a €7 million first close led byInventages. www.phagenesis.com

Wanderful Media, a Los Gatos, Calif.-based digital local discovery shopping company, has raised $9 million in new VC funding from “existing investors.” The company previously raised $27 million from Advance Digital, A. H. Belo Corp., Community Newspaper Holdings Inc., Cox Media Group, The E. W. Scripps Co., Gannett Co., GateHouse Media, Hearst Corp., Lee Enterprises, MediaNews Group, The McClatchy Co. and The Washington Post Co. www.wanderful.com

Numbrs, a mobile-first banking app, has raised CHF 7.5 million in new VC funding from parent companyCentralway, according to TechCrunch. www.numbrs.com

Compare Metrics, an Austin, Texas-based adaptive commerce startup, has raised $4.2 million in Series A funding. Austin Ventures led the round, and was joined by return backers Floodgate, Contour Venture Partners, Allegro Venture Partners and Mack Capital. www.comparemetrics.com

PopExpert, an online learning marketplace that connects users with experts for video chats, has raised $2 million in seed funding. Learn Capital led the round, and was joined by Expansion VC, Capricorn Investment Group, Ken Howery and Michael Chasen. www.popexpert.com

First Aid Shot Therapy Inc., a Burlingame, Calif.-based developer of OTC therapies in liquid “shot” form, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series A funding led by Sofinnova Ventures.www.firstaidshottherapy.com
