Anaplan, a Redwood City, Calif.-based provider of modeling and planning solutions for finance and operations, has raised $30 million in new VC funding. Meritech Capital Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Granite Ventures and Shasta Ventures. www.anaplan.com

Hybris Software, a German commerce platform provider, has raised $30 million in new equity funding.Meritech Capital Partners and Greylock Israel were joined by existing backer Huntsman Gay Global Capital. www.hybris.com

PeopleMatter, a Charleston, S.C.-based provider of HR management software for hourly workforces, has raised $19 million in new VC funding. Scale Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Intersouth Partners, Morgenthaler Ventures, Harbert Venture Partners, Noro-Moseley Partners, C&B Capital and Silicon Valley Bank. www.peoplematter.com

FindTheBest, a Santa Barbara, Calif.-based comparison commerce platform, has raised $11 million in Series B funding. New World Ventures led the round, and was joined by Montgomery & Co. and return backer Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. www.findthebest.com

Retailigence, a Redwood City, Calif.-based hyper-local marketing and commerce platform, has raised $6.3 million in new VC funding. No investor information was disclosed, but existing backers include Draper Fisher Jurvetson, 500 Startups, EchoVC Partners, Motorola Solutions Venture Capital, OPT Inc., Quest Venture Partners and ZIG Capital. www.retailigence.com

Sophia Search, a San Jose, Calif.–based provider of semantic content analysis, has raised $3.7 million in Series A funding led by Atlantic Bridge. www.sophiasearch.com

Epoxy Inc., a Los Angeles-based provider of tools for professional video channels and networks, has raised $2 million in VC funding led by GRP Partners. www.epoxy.tv

Lucid Energy, a Portland, Ore.-based provider of renewable energy systems, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Israeli VC/crowdfunding platform OurCrowd. www.lucidenergy.com
