US HealthVest, a New York-based platform that will operate and acquire psychiatric care facilities, has raised $36 million in first-round funding. Polaris Partners and company CEO Richard Kresch co-led the round, and were joined by Fidelity Biosciences, Trevi Health Ventures, George Conrades (chairman of Akamai Technologies), Jonathan Bush (Athenahealth CEO) and Carl Byers (ex-CFO of Athenahealth). Richard Kresch previously led Ascend Health, a Polaris portfolio company that was acquired last year by Universal Health Services.www.polarispartners.com

FarFetch, a UK–based e-commerce marketplace for independent fashion boutiques, has raised $20 million in new VC funding. Condé Nast International was joined by return backers Advent Venture Partners, Index Ventures and e.ventures. www.farfetch.com

LockerDome, a St. Louis-based social media platform for connecting sports fans with teams and athletes, has raised $6 million in Series A funding. Cultivation Capital Growth Fund led the round, and was joined by William DeWitt III (St. Louis Cardinals president) and NHL player Chris Pronger.www.lockerdome.com

Pathbrite, a San Francisco-based “digital portfolio” startup, has raised $4 million in Series A-2 funding from return backers ACT and Rethink Education. The company previously raised $2.5 million.www.pathbrite.com

Stik
, a Detroit-based recommendation engine for local professionals that leverages the Facebook platform, has raised $2.3 million in Series A funding. Detroit Venture Partners and North Coast Technology Investors co-led the round, and were joined by Draper Associates, First Step Fund, MEDC and Automation Alley. www.stik.com

Terawatt Inc., a Salt Lake City-based residential solar energy company, has raised a “significant initial investment” from Sorenson Capital Partners. www.terawatt-solar.com
