StellaService, a New York-based provider of customer service ratings for online retailers, has raised $15 million in Series B funding. Norwest Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Battery Ventures, DFJ Gotham Ventures, RRE Ventures and Forerunner Ventures.www.stellaservice.com

Kala Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Waltham, Mass.-based developer of products that penetrate the mucosal barrier to treat a variety of severe diseases, has raised $11.5 million in Series A funding. Crown Venture Fund was joined by return backers Lux Capital Management, Polaris Venture Partners and Third Rock Ventures. www.kalrx.com

Julep Beauty, a Seattle-based beauty brand, has raised $10.3 million in Series B funding. Andreessen Horowitz led the round, and was joined by return backer Maveron.

Gild, a San Francisco-based provider of tech hiring solutions, has raised $8 million in Series A funding. Baseline Ventures led the round, and was joined by SAP Ventures, Globespan Capital Partners and Mark Kvamme. www.gild.com

Health Catalyst (f.k.a. Healthcare Quality Catalyst), a Salt Lake City-based provider of healthcare data warehousing, has raised $8 million in additional Series B funding from Kaiser Permanente Venturesand CHV Capital. This brings the round total to $41 million, including a first closing from Norwest Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital and Sorenson Capital. www.healthcatalyst.com

Plastiq, a Boston-based provider of online payment solutions, has raised $6 million in Series A funding.Atlas Venture and Flybridge Capital Partners co-led the round, and were joined by seed backers NextView Ventures, Greenoaks Capital Management and Hervey Golub. www.platiq.com

LocalResponse, a New York-based online ad network that leverages social location data, has raised $5 million in new VC funding, has raised $1.2 million in new VC funding. Backers include Advancit Capital, Cava Capital, Extreme Venture Partners, Verizon and the Webb Investment Network.www.localresponse.com

JethroData, an Israeli analytics database startup that leverages Hadoop, has raised $4.5 million in VC funding led by Pitango Venture Capital. www.jethrodata.com

CardioKinetix Inc., a Menlo Park, Calif.-based developer of a trans-catheter implant, has raised $4 million in new Series E funding from Panorama Capital. The round now stands at $48 million, including a first close from SV Life Sciences, New Leaf Venture Partners, U.S. Venture Partners, H&Q Healthcare Investors, H&Q Life Sciences Investors and JP. Morgan Partners (whose VC group spun off the become Panorama). www.cardiokinetix.com

Rabbit, a San Francisco–based video chat application, has raised $3.3 million in first-round funding. Backers include Google Ventures and CrunchFund. www.rabb.it

Armor5, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based startup focused on data security and compliance for the mobile enterprise, has raised $2 million in seed funding from Citrix Startup Accelerator, Nexus Venture Partners and Trinity Ventures. www.armor5.com

Getable, a mobile platform for the construction equipment rental market, has raised $1.8 million in new seed funding from Andreessen Horowitz, Founder Collective, Lowercase Capital and Promus Ventures. It previously raised $1.2 million. www.getable.com

Enigma, a New York-based public data analytics startup, has raised $1.1 million in seed funding. Backers include Crosslink Captital, TriplePoint Capital and Struss Zelnick. www.enigma.io

TearScience Inc., a Morrisville, N.C.-based developer of devices for identifying and treating evaporative dry eye, has raised up to $70 million in royalty funding from HealthCare Royalty Partners. The company previously raised more than $44 million from De Novo Ventures, General Catalyst, Essex Woodlands Health Ventures, Investor Growth Capital, Quaker BioVentures and Spray Venture Partners.www.tearscience.com

Nexenta Inc., a Santa Clara, Calif.-based provider of data storage software, has raised $24 million in Series D funding. Four Rivers Group led the round, and was joined by return backers Menlo Ventures, TransLink Capital, Javelin Ventures, Sierra Ventures, Razor’s Edge and West Summit Capital.www.nexenta.com

Glide Pharma, a UK-based developer of solid-dose drug injectors, has raised £14 million in new VC funding. Invesco Perpetual led the round, and was joined by return backers like Hygea VCT and Oxford Technology VCT. The company previously raised more than £12.5 million. www.glidepharma.com

Quotient Biodiagnostics, a Scotland-based provider of transfusion diagnostics, has raised $5 million in new growth funding led by return backer Galen Partners and company CEO Paul Cowen.www.quotientbd.com

DecImmune Therapeutics, a Cambridge, Mass.-based developer of antibodies to reduce tissue damage and improve ventricular function associated with myocardial infarction, has raised $2.25 million in new VC funding. Broadview Ventures was joined by return backers Astellas Venture Management and HealthCare Ventures. www.decimmune.com

Kickboard, a New Orleans-based web platform for school analytics, has raised $2 million in Series A funding co-led by New Markets Venture Partners and Two Sigma Ventures.www.kickboardforteachers.com
