Glaukos Corp., a Laguna Hills, Calif.-based developer of implants to treat glaucoma, has raised $30 million in new VC funding. Meritech Capital Partners led the round, and was joined by fellow return backers Versant Ventures and Domain Associates. www.glaukos.com

Urban Airship, a Portland, Or-based provider of mobile apps for raising brand awareness, has raised $25 million in Series D funding. August Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Verizon, Salesforce.com, Foundry Group and True Ventures. The company has now raised more than $46 million in total VC funding. www.urbanairship.com

Illumio
, a stealth-mode cloud security startup, has raised $8 million in Series A funding. Andreessen Horowitz led the round, and was joined by Juniper Networks’ Junos Innovation Fund. www.a16z.com

Big Switch Networks
, a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of open software-defined networking solutions, has raised $6.5 million in new Series B funding from Intel Capital. The company has now raised a total of $45 million in outside funding from such firms as Intel, Goldman Sachs, Index Ventures, Khosla Ventures and Redpoint Ventures. www.bigswitch.com

Parkmobile
, an Atlanta-based provider of mobile payment solutions to municipalities and parking providers, has raised $6.3 million in new VC funding. Backers include BCD Holdings, Fontinalis Partners and Bluefield Investments. www.parkmobile.us

CoverHound
, a San Francisco-based meta search engine for auto insurance, has raised $4.5 million in Series A funding. RRE Ventures led the round, and was joined by Bullpen Capital and return backer Blumberg Capital. The company previously raised $2 million. www.coverhound.com

MyTime, a new online booking platform for appointment-based businesses, has raised around $3 million in VC funding led by GRP Partners. www.mytime.com

Batterii, a Cincinnati-based enterprise SaaS innovation software platform, has raised $2.5 million in seed-stage funding led by CincyTech. www.batterii.com

AlchemyAPI
, a Denver-based natural language processing service, has raised $2 million in Series A funding led by Access Venture Partners. www.alchemyapi.com
