Exablox, a Mountain View, Calif.-based enterprise storage startup, has raised $22 million in Series A and Series B funding. Backers include DCM, Norwest Venture Partners and US Venture Partners. www.exablox.com

Fruition Partners, a Chicago-based provider of tech-enabled services for the IT service management sector, has raised $12 million in Series A funding led by Trident Capital. www.fruitionpartners.com

Nor1, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based developer of data-driven upsell solutions, has raised $9 million in Series B funding led by Concur (Nasdaq: CNQR). Other company backers include Accel Partners and Goldman Sachs. www.nor1.com

Proterro Inc., a Ewing, N.J.-based maker of sucrose for biofuels, has raised $3.5 million in new VC funding. Existing backer Braemar Energy Ventures led the round, and was joined by fellow return backers Battelle Ventures and Innovation Valley Partners. New investors included Cultivian Ventures and Middleland Capital. www.proterro.com

Tau Therapeutics LLC, a Charlottesville, Va.-based provider of T-type calcium channel inhibitors for the treatment of solid tumor, has raised $3 million in new equity funding. www.tautherapeutics.com

Booktrack, a New Zealand-based provider of soundtracks for e-books, has raised $2 million in Series B funding. Backers include Valar Ventures, Park Road Post Production, Sparkbox Ventures and the New Zealand Venture Investment Fund. www.booktrack.com
