Cloudera, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based developer and distributor of Hadoop distribution for enterprise customers, has raised $65 million in new VC funding. Accel Partners led the round, and was joined by Greylock Partners, Ignition Partners, In-Q-Tel, and Meritech Capital Partners. Cloudera now has raised around $140 million in total VC funding. Centric Software, a Campbell, Calif.-based provider of PLM software for retail and consumer goods companies, has raised $11.6 million in new Series C funding from return backers Oak Investment Partners and Masthead Venture Partners. The total round now stands at $19 million.www.centricsoftware.com

Validity Sensors Inc., a San Jose, Calif.-based provider of identity authentication solutions, has raised an undisclosed amount of new Series E funding from Intel Capital.
