CipherCloud, a San Jose, Calif.-based provider of cloud information protection, has raised $30 million in new VC funding from existing investor Andreessen Horowitz. Other CipherCloud shareholders include Index Ventures and T-Venture. John Jack, a board partner with Andreessen Horowitz, will join the CipherCloud board of directors. www.ciphercloud.com

Okta, a San Francisco-based provider of enterprise identity management solutions, has raised $25 million in Series C funding. Sequoia Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Andreessen Horowitz, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures and Floodgate. www.okta.com

Lazada, an online shopping mall created by the Samwer brothers’ Rocket Internet, has raised €20 million in new funding from Summit Partners. www.rocketinternet.de

CloudPay, a UK-based provider of multi-national payroll technologies and services, has raised $16 million in Series B funding from Pinnacle Investment Partners, Rho Ventures and individual angels. www.cloudpay.net

Kona Medical Inc., a Palo Alto, Calif.-based developer of non-invasive technologies for the treatment of hypertension, has raised $10 million in new Series C equity and debt financing. This follows an earlier close on $30 million. Two “large-cap strategic investors” were joined by return backers Essex Woodlands, Domain Associates, Morgenthaler Ventures, Western Technology Investments and BioStar Ventures on the equity tranche. Silicon Valley Bank provided the debt. www.konamedical.com

ShopKeep POS, a New York-based provider of cloud-based point-of-sale solutions for retailers, has raised $10 million in Series B funding. Canaan Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Tribeca Venture Partners and TTV Capital. www.shopkeep.com

SurgiQuest Inc., a Milford, Conn.-based maker of technologies for minimally-invasive surgery, has raised $7.5 million in Series D funding. Return backers included River Cities Capital, Fletcher Spaght Ventures, CMEA Ventures, California Technology Ventures and Aphelion Medical Fund. The company also secured an $11 million credit facility led by Ares Capital Corp. www.surgiquest.com

Playrific, a Boston-based digital media aggregation service for children, has raised $1.7 million in funding. Golden Seeds led the round, and was joined by Launchpad Venture Group, Walnut Ventures, Northeast Angels and Maine Angels. www.playrific.com
