Qualcomm Inc. (Nasdaq: QCOM) has acquired certain assets of EPOS Development Ltd., an Israeli developer of ultrasound technologies for input solutions, including pen, stylus and gesture recognition. Reckitt Benckiser Group
(LSE: RB) has offered to acquire Salt Lake City-based nutritional supplement maker Schiff Nutrition International Inc. (NYSE: SHF) for $1.4 billion, or $42 per share. This is a 23.5% premium over Schiff Nutrition’s existing agreement to be acquired by Bayer Healthcare. www.schiffnutrition.com

TNT Express, a Dutch delivery group that has agreed to be acquired by UPS, has tentatively agreed to sell its airline operations to ASL Aviation Group. No financial terms were disclosed. www.tnt.com

Sysnet Global Solutions has acquired Panoptic Security Inc., a Salt Lake City–based provider of PCI DSS compliance validation services to small and mid-size merchants.
