Ivi.ru, a Russian provider of streamed premium TV and film content (i.e., Russia’s Hulu), has raised $40 million in new VC funding. Baring Vostok led the round, and was joined by return backers ru-Net, Tiger Global, Prof-Media and Frontier Ventures. www.ivi.ru

DisplayLink, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based provider of connection solutions between monitors and computing devices, has raised $10.4 million in private equity and debt funding. Returning equity backers included Atlas Venture, Balderton Capital, Cipio Partners, DAG Ventures and DFJ Esprit. Clydesdale Bank provided the debt. www.displaylink.com

Annovation Biopharma, a Cambridge, Mass.-based developer of therapies for anesthesia and critical care, has raised $8 million in Series A funding. Backers include Atlas Venture, Partners Innovation Fund and The Medicines Company (NasdaQ: MDCO). www.atlasventure.com

Localytics, a Cambridge, Mass.-based provider of enterprise app analytics and marketing services, has raised $5.5 million in Series B funding. Polaris Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers New York Angels, Launchpad Venture Group and Hub Angels. www.localytics.com
