Desire2Learn Inc., an Ontario-based provider of cloud-based learning solutions, has raised $80 million in new VC funding from New Enterprise Associates and OMERS Ventures.

WikiCell Designs Inc., a developer of edible food and beverage packaging, has raised $10 million in Series A funding coled by Flagship Ventures and Polaris Venture Partners. WikiCell has offices in Paris and Cambridge, Mass. www.wikicells.com

Viewfinity, a Waltham, Mass.-based provider of privilege management solutions, has raised $8.5 million in Series C funding. Backers include Longworth Venture Partners, Giza Venture Capital and JK&B Capital. www.viewfinity.com

Theravectys, a Paris-based, has raised €7.48 million in third-round funding. Individual angels include Guy Paillaud (former Promodes executive) and John Peters (ex-CEO Amgen France).www.theravectys.com

QBotix Inc., a Menlo Park, Calif.-based provider of robotics for solar panel management, has raised $6.5 million in Series A funding. New Enterprise Associates led the round, and was joined by Firelake Capital, Siemens Venture Capital and DFJ JAIC. www.qbotix.com

Dnevnik.ru (a.k.a. ClassedIn), a Russian online platform for distributing and categorizing educational content, has raised $5 million in VC funding from Runa Capital. www.classedin.com
