Genomatica, a San Francisco-based developer of sustainable chemicals, has raised $41.5 million in Series D funding. It also has withdrawn registration for a $100 million IPO, citing “market conditions.” Italian chemical company Versalis led the new financing, and was joined by return backers Alloy Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Mohr Davidow Ventures, TPG Biotech, VantagePoint Capital Partners and Waste Management. The company has now raised over $100 million in VC funding. www.genomatica.com

SCVNGR, a Boston-based developer of the LevelUp mobile payment system, has raised $9 million in additional Series D funding from T-Venture. VentureWire reports that the valuation was $172 million. The round now stands at $21 million, including an earlier close from Continental Investors, Transmedia Capital, Highland Capital Partners, Google Ventures and Balderton Capital. www.levelup.com

Cortica, an Israel-based developer of online image recognition technology, has raised $7 million in new VC funding from Horizon Ventures. www.cortica.com

Cyphort, a San Jose, Calif.-based cyber-security startup, has raised $7 million in Series A funding. Matrix Partners led the round, and was joined by seed backer Foundation Capital. www.cyphort.com

Movea, a French provider of motion processing and data fusion technologies, has raised €6.5 million in new VC funding. QuickPay, a Menlo Park, Calif.-based developer of mobile parking payment technology, has raised $3.5 million in seed funding. Backers include Andreessen Horowitz, Advanced Technology Ventures, Fontinalis Partners and individual angels. www.quickpay.com

FabKids, a children’s brand and personalized e-commerce service led by Andy Moss (founder of ShopStyle) and actress Christina Applegate, has raised $2.6 million in Series A funding led by Hillsen Capital.

Silk, a Dutch developer of ways to visualize, store and share content-rich information, has raised $1.6 million in new seed funding. New Enterprise Associates led the round, and was joined by return backer Atomico and three undisclosed investors. www.silkapp.com

Mango Health, a developer of consumer-focused mobile health apps, has raised $1.45 million in seed funding. Backers include Baseline Ventures, Floodgate fund and First Round Capital. www.mangohealth.com

Pinfluencer, a San Mateo, Calif.-based data analytics and discovery marketing engine for the Pinterest platform, has raised around $1.4 million in seed funding co-led by Freestyle Capital and Baseline Ventures. www.pinfluencer.com
