Cerberus Capital Management has sold Guilford Mills, a Wilmington, N.C.–based provider of automotive and specialty fabrics, to Lear Corp. (NYSE: LEA). The deal was valued at $257 million.www.guilfordproducts.com

Chesapeake Energy Corp. (NYSE: CHK) is looking to sell around 450,000 acres in northern Michigan, according to Reuters. Bids are due on June 29. www.chk.com

Koch Industries has put stakes in six Alberta oil sands properties on the block, according to Reuters. The deal could be valued at anywhere from C$900 million to C$3 billion. www.kochind.com

Citrix Systems (Nasdaq: CTXS) has agreed to acquire Bytemobile, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based provider of data and video optimization solutions for mobile network operators. No financial terms were disclosed. ByteMobile shareholders include Argo Global Capital, Benchmark Capital, BlueRun Ventures, CrossBridge Venture Partners, Dot Edu Ventures, Eastven, Skymoon Ventures, Innovacom, Trident Capital and Vesbridge Partners. www.bytemobile.com

LNK Partners and Brentwood Associates have agreed to sell Ariat International, a Union City, Calif.–based provider of outdoor and riding footwear and apparel, to company management and the Fisher family (founders of Gap Inc.). No financial terms were disclosed.

Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) said that it is preparing for an IPO of its animal health unit, which generated around $4.2 billion in 2011 revenue. Pfizer had put the business up for sale last year, but did not receive adequate bids. www.pfizer.com

Rolls-Royce (LSE: RR) plans to acquire the stake it does not already own in Aero Engine Controls, a British maker of fuel pumps and metering units, from joint venture partner Goodrich Corp. (NYSE: GR). No financial terms were disclosed. Rolls Royce and Goodrich formed Aero Engine Controls in 2009.
Thomson Reuters has acquired Apsmart, a UK-based mobile development lab whose investors included DN Capital. No financial terms were disclosed. www.thomsonreuters.com
