Universal Health Services Inc. (NYSE: UHS) has agreed to acquire Ascend Health Corp., a New York-based operator of behavioral health facilities for children, adults and seniors. The deal is valued at $500 million in cash. Ascend Health had raised over $20 million in VC funding from Altos Health Management, CHL Medical Partners, Polaris Venture Partners and Three Arch Partners. www.ascendhealth.net

Google Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG) has agreed to acquire Meebo Inc., a Mountain View, Calif.-based online sharing platform. No financial terms were disclosed, but All Things D puts the price-tag at approximately $100 million. Meebo had raised around $70 million in VC funding from Khosla Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Time Warner and Jafco Ventures. www.meebo.com

Oracle has agreed to acquire Collective Intellect, a Boulder, Colo.-based provider of cloud-based social intelligence solutions. No financial terms were disclosed. Collective Intellect has raised around $14 million in VC funding from Appian Ventures, Croghan Investments, Crawley Hatfield Investments and Grotech Ventures. www.oracle.com

Starbucks Coffee Co. (Nasdaq: SBUX) has agreed to buy La Boulange Café & Bakery from Next World Group for $100 million in cash. The deal is expected to close next quarter. La Boulange is a San Francisco-based fast-casual restaurant chain with the theme of a French bakery. www.starbucks.com

Lionbridge Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: LIOX) has acquired Indiana-based Productive Resources LLC, an Indianapolis-based provider of outsourced technical engineering, documentation and drafting solutions. The deal was valued at approximately $12 million, net of cash. www.productiveresources.com

Nordson Corp. (Nasdaq: NDSN) has agreed to acquire Xaloy Superior Holdings Inc., a New Castle, Penn.-based manufacturer of melt delivery components for injection and extrusion machinery in the global plastic processing industry. The deal is valued at $200 million. www.nordson.com

Oil and Natural Gas Corp., a state-owned energy exploration company in India, may bid for part of ConocoPhillips’ (NYSE: COP) Canadian oil sands holdings, according to Reuters. The deal could be valued at $5 billion.

On24 Inc., a San Francisco-based provider of webcasting and virtual event solutions, has acquired Imaste, a Madrid-based provider of virtual events in Europe. No financial terms were disclosed. On24 shareholders include Canaan Partners, Rho Capital Partners and U.S. Venture Partners. www.on24.com
