Flowonix Medical Inc., a Mount Olive, N.J.-based developer of implantable drug delivery solutions, has raised $25 million in new VC funding. RFT Investment Co. led the round, and was joined by OmniCapital Fund and return backer Clarus Ventures. www.flowonix.com

Huddle, a provider of cloud-based collaboration and content management software, has raised $24 million in Series C funding. Jafco Ventures led the round, and was joined by DAG Ventures and return backers Matrix Partners and Eden Ventures. Huddle has offices in London and San Francisco, and previously raised over $14 million. www.huddle.com

Liquid Metal Battery Corp., a Cambridge, Mass.-based developer of new battery technology for grid-scale electricity storage has raised $15 million in Series B funding. Khosla Ventures led the round, and was joined by return backers Total SA and Bill Gates. www.lbcorporation.com

InstaMed, a Philadelphia-based healthcare payments network, has raised $14 million in new VC funding. No specific investor information was disclosed, except that “more than 90% of InstaMed’s existing investors participated.” Those backers include Benjamin Franklin Technology Partners, NJTC Venture Fund, U.S. Bank, Ashby Point Capital and Osage Ventures. www.instamed.com

Fullbridge, a Cambridge, Mass.-based business education program, has raised $5.5 million in new VC funding. Backers include GSV Capital (Nasdaq: GSVC) and Tomorrow Ventures. www.fullbridge.com

TurningArt, a Boston-based startup that lets users shop for and “try out” art in their homes, has raised $1.5 million in Series A funding. Backers include NextView Ventures and Fouad ElNaggar (ex-Redpoint Ventures). www.turningart.com

Triptrotting Inc., a Los Angeles-based online community for connecting travelers with local hosts, has raised $1.5 million in Series A funding. Backers include Google Ventures, Idealab, LaunchpadLA, 500 Startups, WI Harper Group and Golden Seeds. www.triptrotting.com

Speaktoit, a Newark, Del.-based developer of human-computer interaction technologies based on natural language, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Intel Capital. www.speaktoit.com

TaxiForSure, an India-based online taxi booking service, has raised an undisclosed amount of VC funding from Accel Partners, Helion Venture Partners and Blume Ventures. www.taxiforsure.com
