Etsy, a Brooklyn-based ecommerce platform focused on handmade goods, has raised $40 million in Series B funding. Index Ventures led the round, and was joined by return backers Accel Partners, Union Square Ventures, Hubert Burda Media and Glynn Partners. VentureWire reports that the deal values Etsy at more than $600 million. www.etsy.com

EdeniQ, a Calif.-based, has raised over $30 million in new private equity and debt financing. Equity investors included Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Cyrus Capital, The Westly Group, Angeleno Group, I2BF Global Ventures, Element Partners and new backer Flint Hills Resources Renewables. Comerica and ATEL Ventures provided the debt facility. www.edeniq.com

Coupa Software, a San Mateo, Calif.-based provider of spend optimization software, has raised $22 million in Series E funding. Crosslink Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Battery Ventures, BlueRun Ventures, El Dorado Ventures and Mohr Davidow Ventures. www.coupa.com

Leap Motion, a San Francisco-based motion-control software startup, has raised $12.75 million in Series A funding. Highland Capital Partners led the round, which follows $1.8 million in seed funding from Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund and individual angels. www.leapmotion.com

Adaptly, a New York–based social advertising technology company, has raised $10.5 million in Series B funding. Valhalla Partners led the round, and was joined by ime Warner Investments and return backers like First Round Capital. www.adaptly.com

MedicAnimal.com, a British ecommerce company focused on pet supplies like food and medication, has raised £10 million in Series C funding. Balderton Capital led the round, and was joined by return backer Iris Capital. www.medicanimal.com

ZiLift, a Scotland-based provider of artificial lift solutions for the oil and gas market, has raised £4 million in new VC funding. Energy Technology Ventures led the round, and was joined by return backers Energy Ventures, Chevron Technology Ventures, Viking Venture, Jebsen Asset Management and Investinor.www.zilift.com

Jumio, a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of image recognition and mobile payment solutions, has raised $3.3 million in additional Series B funding from Citi Ventures at a $130 million post-money valuation, according to VentureWire. It’s an extension to the company’s $25.5 million round led by Andreessen Horowitz late last year. www.jumio.com

EveryMove Inc., a Seattle-based developer of rewards-based marketing and incentive programs for health and fitness, has raised $2.6 million in Series A funding. Backers include Premera Blue Cross, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska, BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners, Founders Co-op and Summit Capital. www.everymove.com
