SugarSync, a San Mateo, Calif.-based free service that actively syncs files across computers and devices, today announced it has completed a $15 million series D financing round. Coral Group led the round, and was joined by return backers Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Sigma Partners, Hatteras Venture Partners and Hercules. Wayin, a Denver-based social television app maker founded by Scott McNealy, has raised $14 million in Series B funding. U.S. Venture Partners led the round. www.wayin.com

GeneWeave Biosciences, a San Jose, Calif.-based developer of a platform for the rapid detection of infectious disease, has raised $12 million in Series A funding. Decheng Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Claremont Creek Ventures and X/Seed Capital. www.geneweavebio.com

Hello Health, a New York-based provider of an electronic patient management system, has raised $10 million in private equity and debt funding. VentureWire reports that BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, Abundant Ventures and individual angels. www.hellohealth.com

Amplidata, a Belgium-based provider of object storage technology, has raised $8 million in Series C funding. Backers include Big Bang Ventures, Endeavour Vision, Intel Capital and Swisscom. www.amplidata.com

Omni Water Solutions, an Austin, Texas-based developer of water treatment technology for use in fracking, has raised $7.9 million in VC funding led by Austin Ventures. www.omniwatersolutions.com

Krossover, a New York-based provider of analytics for high school and college sports programs, said that it raised $3.5 million in angel funding last year. Backers included Ken Fox (The Stripes Group), George Raveling (Nike Basketball International), Greg Cangialosi (Nucleus Ventures) and David Troy (410Labs). www.krossover.com

Tello Inc., a Palo Alto, Calif.-based provider of SaaS and mobile applications for everyday customer interactions, has raised $2.7 million in Series A funding co-led by True Ventures and Bullpen Capital. www.tello.com

Nu-Tek Salt LLC, a Minnetonka, Minn.-based developer of a potassium chloride product for the food industry, has raised a “significant” equity investment from Khosla Ventures. www.nu-teksalt.com

Oberon FMR Inc.
, an Aurora, Colo.-based developer of technology for producing a fish meal replacement, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series B funding. The deal was placed by Headwaters MB. www.oberonfmr.com
