Constellation Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Cambridge, Mass.-based developer of drugs that target selective regulators of epigenetic function, has entered into a collaboration agreement with Genentech, a unit of the Roche Group. Constellation will receive $95 million in funding as part of the deal, including both an up-front payment and research funding for a three-year collaboration period. Metro AG has suspended the auction for German department store chain Kaufhof, according to The Wall Street Journal. Metro had been seeking in excess of $2.5 billion, but reportedly was unable to secure adequate bids.
