Silver Lake Partners, Microsoft and Andreessen Horowitz reportedly have offered to acquire around a 20% stake for $16.60 per share. TPG Capital has come in at $17.60 for a similar stake, while Bain Capital and Blackstone Group reportedly are among those considering a bid for the entire company. The NY Times reports that Yahoo’s board is leaning toward a minoirty stake sale. www.yahoo.com

Advent International has acquired the Card Systems and Identity divisions of the François-Charles Oberthur Fiduciaire Group. No financial terms were disclosed for the deal, except that the units reported nearly €815 million in 2010 sales. Oberthur will retain a 10% ownership position. www.adventinternational.com

American Securities has acquired Unifrax Holdings, a Niagara Falls, N.Y.–based maker of high-temperature insulation product, from AEA Investors. No financial terms were disclosed. Harris Williams & Co. advised Unifrax on the deal. www.unifrax.com

Genstar Capital has completed its previously-announced acquisition of the Insurance Software Solutions business of LexisNexis Risk Solutions for an undisclosed amount. The Hartford, Conn.-based business has around 400 employees and more than 100 insurer clients. It has been renamed Insurity. www.genstarcap.com

Gryphon Investors has has acquired Trinity Consultants Inc., a Dallas-based provider of air quality compliance services, from Sentinel Capital Partners. No financial terms were disclosed. www.trinityconsultants.com

Maxim Partners has acquired Pipe Maintenance Inc., a Kilgore, Texas-based provider of inspection, repair, maintenance and asset management services for oil country tubular goods and down-hole tools. No pricing terms were disclosed. Cadence Bank provided senior debt. www.maximpartnersllc.com

Royal Adhesives & Sealants
, a portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Partners, has agreed to acquire substantially all of the assets of Webcraft Chemicals, a Vertis Communications subsidiary that provides ultraviolet light cured and water based adhesives and coatings to the printing and graphic arts markets. No financial terms were disclosed. Vertis is a portfolio company of THL Partners and Evercore Partners. www.royaladhesives.com
