iDevices has raised $150,000 in Pre-Seed funding from Connecticut Innovations. As part of the program, the Canton, CT-based iDevices has received matching commitments from several other undisclosed investors. www.idevicesinc.com

JumpStart has invested $250,000 each in three young entrepreneurial companies in Northeast Ohio. With the investments in Anderson Aerospace, OptixConnect, and SpearFysh, JumpStart has now totaled $22 million in investment in 59 Northeast Ohio companies.

RelayRides, a peer-to-peer car-sharing marketplace, has taken on General Motors Ventures and RelayRides CEO Andre Haddad has additional investors, bringing its Series A funding total up to $13 million. Already in on the round are Google Ventures, August Capital, and Shasta Ventures.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 26

BlueCava, an Irvine, CA-based provider of device identification technology, raised $9.5 million in a new round of funding. The round was led by S3 Ventures, and existing investors Mark Cuban and Tim Headington participated.

CrowdOptic, a San Francisco, CA-based crowd-powered mobile solutions provider, raised $500,000 in a new round of funding from undisclosed investors. www.crowdoptic.com

Mobli, a visual media platform, raised $4 million in a seed round of funding from private investors including Leonardo DiCaprio, Mashable reports.

Playjam, a TV games platform, raised $5 million in Series A funding from GamStop Digital Ventures, Adobe Ventures, Endeavour Ventures, London Venture Partners, and individual investors.

Zaarly, a mobile commerce startup in which buyers post requests and prices and the sellers respond, raised $14.1 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers’ iFund and Sands Capital Ventures. Also participating were CMEA, Venture51, Crunchfund, Mark Ecko, and Artists and Instigators. ZeaChem, a Lakewood, CO-based biofuels company, raised $19 million in Series C funding. The round was led by Birchmere Ventures and five existing investors also participated.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 25

Workday, a Pleasonton, CA-based maker of human resources and payroll software, raised $85 million in Series F financing. The round was led by new investors including T. Rowe Price, Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Janus Capital Group, and Bezos Expeditions, the personal investment company of Amazon.com founder and CEO, Jeff Bezos. www.workday.com

YourEncore, a maker of R&D solutions, received a strategic growth equity investment from Accel-KKR. YourEncore clients include pharmaceutical, biotech, and aerospace companies. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Keepwheel, an Austin, TX-based company that runs the website Main Street Hub, raised a $2.56 million early financing round from 24 angel investors.

Kanbox, a Chinese cloud storage and sharing service provider, raised $20 million in Series B funding. The round was led by DCM. Existing investor SIG China also participated in this round. www.dcm.com

MONDAY, OCTOBER 24

Pose, a Santa Monica, CA-based maker of a fashion and shopping mobile app, raised $3 million in Series A financing from GRP Partners, True Ventures and Mousse Partners. Pose has also been funded by Founder Collective and angel investors Shawn Fanning and Dave Morin. http://pose.com

CouponCabin.com, an online destination for coupons, raised $54 million in strategic growth capital. The round was led by JMI Equity, and under the terms of the investment, JMI Equity will hold a minority stake in the company. www.CouponCabin.com.
